Our Signature 17-Day Program

Honoring the souls of our ancestors

An unhurried seventeen-day cultural pilgrimage through the sacred marigold paths, private vigils, and artisan workshops of Michoacán and Oaxaca.

A Sacred Tradition

Beyond the festival

Over seventeen unhurried days, we transition from the quiet lake villages of Michoacán to the vibrant valley of Oaxaca. You will sit with master woodcarvers, share mezcal with multi-generational distillers, and witness the true warmth of Mexican hospitality.

This is not a street parade. Our journey is designed alongside local historians and indigenous families to honor the deep spiritual roots of the Día de los Muertos. We travel with reverence, stepping lightly into sacred spaces.

The 17-Day Narrative

Three chapters of immersion

We divide our journey into three distinct geographic and cultural movements, allowing you to settle into the rhythm of each region.

Days 1 to 6
Days 7 to 11
Days 12 to 17

Michoacán Highlands

Puebla & Tehuacán

Oaxaca Valley

Settle into colonial Morelia. We visit the purepecha pottery workshops of Patzcuaro and witness the quiet lakeside cemetery vigils on Janitzio Island.

Journey through the prehistoric cactus valleys. Explore colonial convents and participate in family-led altar preparations away from any tourist crowds.

Conclude in the cultural heartland. Walk the marigold-lined streets of Teotitlán del Valle, visit private home altars, and share slow meals with local culinary guardians.

The scent of copal incense and fresh marigolds guides the spirits home. To witness this is to understand the true depth of Mexico's soul.
