Mexican Wanders is our family business registered in NSW, Australia.

We have been successfully running tours since 2022 and have many happy customers.

We are an Australian family of mother and son – Roxanne and Nikita Phoenix.  Our home base is in Sydney.

Roxanne was born in Ukraine.

Roxanne used to live and work in different countries, before landing in Australia in 2009, Roxanne owned and ran a tourism business and an airline in UAE. Roxanne has eleven years of experience in organizing tours and charter flights in Portugal, Cyprus, and UAE. Roxanne has a master’s degrees in business administration and human rights law.
 

Nikita was born in Sydney. He has been traveling since he was five. He is a world schooler – he learns what he wants and really needs in a self-directed way of education. He discovers the World through  his own research, which he transforms into his own experiences, and later into tour programs . His main interests beside tourism are filmmaking, drone videography, photography, music performance and animals.
Since beginning his travels Nikita traveled to Mexico, USA, Canada, Guatemala, Belize, Fiji, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Cambodia, Vietnam, Vatican City and throughout Australia.

Besides our tourism business we are involved in filmmaking and music performance. Our documentary, which was filmed in the Mexican state of Chiapas “One Day with Doctor Sergio” took part in 44 festivals and got 9 awards. Our short vegan documentary “Cube of Truth” was went through 11 festivals and also got an award.

Our songs are live on Spotify, iTunes, and other music platforms.

We have been exploring Mexico since 2015. We know and love the country. Now we want to share our experience with you. That’s why we have created unique tours throughout the unbeaten paths of Mexico.

Our current programs are the “Day of the Dead & other Wonders of Michoacan” which will take you to the brightest and most diverse in terms of culture and craft Mexican state Michoacan. We lived in Michoacan for more than a year. We explored it deeply and thoroughly. Now we want to share the uniqueness of this state with you. 
The main feature of the current program is Day of the Dead celebration. Michoacan is the best place to discover this celebration. Because this is where its legacy comes from.
